Using the uppercase letterforms from previous semester I created lowercase letterforms to create the word imagination. Each letterform was first studied by painting it with black plaka paint which allows you to see the forms. The letterforms must be balanced and look like they belong together. Small adjustments were utilized in order to help achieve this. My goal was to create letterforms that would be appropriate for multiple media.
